WILLOW, before & after

When I first took this image I knew I’ve captured something quite special! The light was divine that morning, the air crisp and still…the perfect morning for what I had in mind. Willow was so easy to work with, she just stared into the distance for several seconds, so I just kept snapping away.
Now to my edit: I wanted to take away each and every distraction which drew attention to other things but her face. And although this image would have worked almost equally well in full colour, I decided to minimise even that potential distraction….
