A BUYER'S GUIDE

About Kerto and her artworks
All the artworks you see in Kerto Studio shop have been conceived as part of a long creative process. All artworks are derived from original photographs taken by Kerto which have then received a variety of digital manipulations, whether old masters style edits or more modern minimalist treatments. Because Kerto has a background as a professional fine art painter (specialising in oils and watercolours), the same techniques have been put to practice here digitally. Kerto’s favourite medium is photography and she has used an assortment of technologies as her paintbrushes to achieve a variety of styles.

Colour of the prints: I have put every effort possible showing you the actual colours of the print rather than a digital representation of my imagery. I believe it’s a vital process of purchasing any artworks – you need to be certain the colour you see on your screen is what you actually receive in the post. However not everybody has the luxury of a fully calibrated screen, so there may be slight differences in the colours shown.
All of the artworks are printed using the absolute latest in print technology, so you can be sure they won’t fade for many years to come.

Quality of papers: every work of art is printed on the finest archival grade papers available and are produced by a top photographic lab in the UK. I will then personally quality check and stamp (where applicable) these to make sure your artwork arrives in pristine condition.

Resolution: if you happen to be a fellow artist or a photographer, you will appreciate some technical specifications; so here are a few things about all of my images: each and every artwork available through Kerto Studio shop has been created by capturing the imagery at a very high resolution (40-60 megapixel, depending on the camera used) to create an amazing level of detail and dynamic range. The images have then been meticulously edited to a standard where they look superb when printed even at very large scale.

Postage and packaging: all unframed prints are delivered frame-ready in a protective tube, ensuring your fine art print arrives in perfect condition. This allows you to choose your own framing. Kerto Studio framed artworks will be shipped in a secure packaging to prevent any damage during transit.

Time of delivery: every work of art you order will be made to order – this means, I do not stock anything, it will be custom made from scratch just for you! Depending on what you order, this may mean 2-4 weeks of delivery (may take longer if you live another side of the world of course).

Bespoke options: if you see anything in my shop that you absolutely love but you’d like it in a certain size or colour – please don’t hesitate to get in touch, I can produce the designs available at different sizes, colours and even ratios. I also offer various different professional framing; various printing options on a variety of mediums such as acrylic, aluminium etc.  Please contact Kerto for more details and pricing of these bespoke wall art display options.

Kerto takes great pride in the quality of her artworks, both in creating and the printing process, so you can be sure to receive a premium product. Please note that because of the nature of ordering custom, made to measure, on-demand fine art prints, the right to cancellation under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations does not apply. Therefore please ensure all the details of your product (colour, size and other possible product variants) are correct before placing your order.

After receiving your product, please take extra care when framing your prints as damage caused during self-organised framing or mounting is the responsibility of the customer, and no refund is offered for prints that have been spoiled in this way.

All orders which have been delivered and confirmed as undamaged, or where we have not been informed of any courier damage within 24 hours of delivery, are deemed to have been accepted by you in good condition hence will no longer be replaced by us for free on return of the damaged item for disposal. Any damage caused after successful delivery is the responsibility of the customer, and any replacements will be provided subject to payment of the current print price on the website.
