TEDDY, Signature Collection

Another absolutely gorgeous dog…BUT you may be asking “How do they always sit so still?” and “My dog would never stay put even for a minute!!!” …. Well, let me tell you something: this dog is a perfect example that everything really is possible 🙂

The owner of Teddy was so worried on the phone saying, ‘I don’t know how you’ll be able to get any decent images of him, he is such a handful!!’. I put her mind at rest and said don’t you worry I have a few tricks up my sleeve! And left it there…I then contacted my friend Gillian, a dog trainer extraordinaire, who’s been doing this for over 30 years, to see whether she’d be happy to help me out on this occasion. You see sometimes there needs to be 2 people in place simply because I cannot be everywhere – behind the camera AND attending to the dog…

You know what, Gillian’s expertise came in very handy: she had Teddy sitting and doing exactly what we wanted in 15 minutes!

But, back to the image: as with most of my signature collection edits, this image has also received a special backdrop addition. I have also tidied up the floor and extended the carpet. It’s one of those images which turned out really beautiful even straight out of the camera without anything done to it. Needless to say the client was super happy with images not believing her eyes that I got “THIS KIND OF images of HER DOG!!”

I’ve got to say I love my job so much, to see the clients’ faces when they see images of their dogs  – its such an amazing feeling!
